Mini roadsters in New England
Mini roadsters in New England
Do you plan to drive the car through the winter months ? If so, are you going to get new rims with snow tires? This will be the first winter for the roadster .
Thanks,
Mikeyb74...good to know... Will different size rims / wheels be necessary?...I did that for my135i.... You have people who drive Zs in the winter? Wow... I only get negative reports from Z owners. I will be going to the Bedford, NH , Mini dealer to test drive the roadster S within the next week, or two. I live about 35 mikes away... An issue!

I drove my R53 on all season run flats for four winters, then my R56 S on snows for three winters. Never any problems. I don't see why the Roadster would be significantly different. It's a touch lower, and the JCW splitter/spoiler means I won't be ramming snow banks with quite so much gusto, and taking more care on rutted roads, but on normal plowed roads I'm expecting nothing unusual.
