Perhaps I am naive, but I believe the price I paid for my MINI hardtop was reasonable. I bought though Costco, probably would not have gone to HC otherwise. And, I was happy with the trade in value for my Saab (OK, my expectations were fairly low!). I am not a haggler or dickerer so car buying is a huge drag for me. Anyone else used the Costco program and ended up at HC?
