(Bi-Weekly) Western Mass/Northern CT Mini Meets - Sundays @ 11am
Well, now that the season is officially here, it is time to make an official thread for the meets that myself and a fellow member of NAM, Jon (Striped Toad) have been doing for about 2 months now and it has been growing bigger and bigger each meet. We started with 2 of us, then 3 the following meet, then 4 and now this past sunday we had a nice 8 members with minis show up. It is a good time to come for a few hours on a Sunday morning and spending some time with fellow mini owners.
Here are all of the details you need to know:
Date: Every other Sunday (starting on 4/6)
Time: 11am
Place: Holyoke Mall Parking Garage in front of Best Buy (top floor if its nice out, middle floor if its raining)
Holyoke Mall: Holyoke, Ma
Directions: Exit 4 off rt. 90 (Mass Pike), take Interstate 91 North to Ingleside exit 15 (1st exit as soon as you get on), bear right off exit ramp, merge right onto Holyoke st., at 2nd lights (under underpass), bear right. Best Buy garage on your left.
We usually have a little meet and greet, then shoot inside for some grub and a few drinks in one of the many places inside (unos, ruby tuesdays, 99, friendlys, food court, etc.). Feel free to bring your family and other motoring enthusiats that may have others cars. It's always good for everyone if you bring anything you have that you may be looking to sell (relating to cars...
) because you never know when you will find a buyer.

VERY IMPORTANT NEWS FLASH!!!
Just a small update... We are having a meet this coming Sunday (4/13) due to the Litchfield Hills meet falling on our scheduled week. It is also going to be where we are going to coordinate who is going to the Litchfield run and where we are meeting, etc.

I racked-up my ankle late last week and am still not walking (or driving) very well. I'll have to miss the get-together today.
Would someone please post the arrangements for next Sunday's meet-up for Litchfield? I have another MINI who will be joining us next Sunday and I want to notify him.
It would be cool if we got to the Litchfield event at around 9:00 so we have some time to frolick before the event!

Now that my S Clubman is on the water and due into NY/NJ on 6/8, I figured it's about time to say hello! A few weeks back I followed a caravan of MINIs passing through Northampton and wished I had been able to be a part of the crew. Soon enough, it will happen!
Please feel free to post any upcoming cruises, as I'll be looking for a reason to put on some miles to break my Clubbie in!

This weekend is MINI Takes the States. There is a drive that will be leaving Pier 4 in Boston Saturday morning at 8:00 and will go up the coast to Gloucester and back down to Boston. Saturday afternoon is the MTTS festival with a Fountains of Wayne concert Saturday night.

Devens Anyone?
My name on NAM is The Welsh Dragon. I am part of the Mini Motoring Club of the Carolinas, and I will be up in Fort Devens, from the 6th to the 19th of September. I am working with the Army Reserve training center there and will have the evenings off and was wondering if there was anything going on in that area. I have a rental car, not my mini, but it would be cool to meet anyone and see what was going on.
