SPI – MINI COOPER TURBO
This is NOT a Twincharged Cooper S, but the prototype by Hubie Fuh for the MCT.
The concept for this kit was to comfortably out-power a JCW Cooper S. It has not been tuned and finished to achieve this goal.
This was put together by "Dr. Fuh" himself at their Phoenix, AZ location.

Why I’m selling it. The car was going to be project car to develop to promote a MINI accessories company I was forming. The company had to be dissolved so, I don’t have a need for this project car and it’s too impractical for me to continue with it. So if you wish to have a unique MINI that hopefully Hubie will follow through with and help develop with you OR you know a lot about engines and turbos where you could make this car sing, then this might be a good for you.
If you’ve been following the Twincharge / turbo threads, you know that the kit costs over $5000. Well this one cost me the same…not cheap. But the install was “free”. It still needs to be dyno tested. Also recommended are: a boost gauge and a fuel/timing management system.
I’m selling it AS IS. It hasn’t gotten much mileage since I got the car back (just use it to get to work). I been driving it like an old lady since the tuning isn’t complete and I’ve been heeding the warnings and consequences if I push it without doing the rest of the mods.
Price $16,000.00 OBO. about Kelly Blue Book for a MINI with 60000 miles and in good condition.
Those who know me, know I’ve always changed my oil at about 1500-2000 miles (I think twice at about 2700) with Castrol Synthetic ONLY. The body is in great shape (minus 2 dings on the tail gate thanks to a mechanic) and one almost not visible by the fuel cap.

- H&R Rear 2way Adjustable Sway Bar
- Pilo Racing Rear Upper Stress Bar
- Misc. Mods: S fuel cap, S-light wheels, tinted glass (lifetime warranty)
- 6 Speed transmission swap w/factory gears
- Phantom Grip LSD
- M7/RPS lightweight flywheel (forgot to list these items in original post)
- Garrett GT25R ball bearing turbo with custom actuator
- Custom 8 gauge stainless steel tubular manifold
- 2.5 “stainless steel down pipe
- Top mount intercooler with custom aluminum piping
- HKS Super Sequential BOV
- Aluminum intake piping with HKS Super Mega Flow Mini Filter Assembly
- APEXi S-AFC Select Fuel Computer
- Custom 300cc injectors
- Grade 12.9 hardware, clamps, hoses, fittings, gaskets, braided lines and aluminum fittings for oil feed and return
- Relocation brackets for power steering and coolant reservoirs

Thanks Sam. I agree. A great car for a mfg. of a turbo kit or other products as a test mule - a tax write off!
Someone should build this car to it's potential...maybe someone like...Fireball Tim? From what I understand he's working with Hubie anyway...Hmmm...
