Sure!

You never know who may be looking for what you have. We know the MINI isn't the only car out there....though it should be.

YellowMINIS,

Technically, Marketplace is for:
MINIs for sale, group buys, special offers and more...this is the place to buy or sell anything MINI-related.

I will ask Mark our Founder for a ruling in your case.
You could make an arguement if by selling your car you then can buy a MINI.

minihune, per Marketplace Rules set down by Mark Ferguson:

6) Commercial parties offering non-MINI-related items and or services are prohibited unless first approved by NAM.

Not sure if a member wanting to sell a non-MINI-related item is considered a "commercial party." I'll be interested in hearing the ruling on this request.

Actually, exactly what I'm doing is selling this car, using the cash to pay down the loan on our Jeep Liberty, which I will then sell, to buy a new MINI.

The Jeep isn't the one I want to post here, however.

I'll wait for an official word...I don't want to break any rules.

Go right ahead.

As long as these are private party sales (i.e. you're not a dealer/broker), go right ahead and post your non-MINI for sale. We're trying to help you get into a MINI.
