I asked the dealer in Toronto and they charged $599 Canadian Dollars installed @ dealer. That's already pretty good. OEM spoilers are rare on the market and fortunately I found one from my car club SOMC.
I have a factory Cooper S Spoiler for sale. It is in perfect condition (I simply replaced it with another style spoiler), pure silver paint (can easily be repainted any color by a body shop). Attaches with adhesive (Betalink available at any BMW dealership for about $13) and two bolts (already attached to spoiler). Can be swapped as a direct replacement for a Cooper spoiler on Coopers '03 and newer I believe. Earlier Coopers' spoilers were held on with 3 bolts, so you'd have a hole to plug up if your have three bolt holes on your roof. If your MINI came without a spoiler you'd just need to drill the 2 holes for it. $175 plus exact shipping.
I got your email. I've already posted to this guy asking if he really wants to sell the spoiler or what? Over a week ago!!! I do'nt know if he's a little flakey or is just rarely on the site. Anyway I'll send him a PM or email today. I dont know what the deal w/ your not being able to post on MM, But I'll ask @ the monthly meeting tomarrow evening. Joe D.
