Description:
2003 Mini Cooper R50
I bought this car in 2020 with 82,000 miles on it.
It has been a fantastic car but its time to let it go as I've just purchased an R53 to replace it.
Only issue it has is an intermittent check engine light for the rear o2. O2 light is due to a long tube header and decat. I have the factory cat that gos with it.
This car has extensive mods for an R50 and really could benefit from a tune. I have the interface and injectors for it and have spoken to adriancl about it several times but ended up with an R53 so I'm done putting anything else into this one.
Only interior mods are a custom headliner and shift ****.
Engine has a ported S head, new head gasket, head bolts, timing chain kit, oil pump, CAI, and header.
Radiator is fairly new, so is the alternator, belt, and tensioner, coil, wires, plugs, and both cv shafts.
Suspension consists of Bilstein shocks/struts, Tein springs, Ireland Engineering camber plates, PSB rear shock bushings, and Powerflex control arm bushings.
For brakes it has Brembo rotors, Akbono/Brembo pads, caliper bushings on the rear, stainless hoses on all 4 corners and Motul 660 fluid.
Most lights have been converted to smoked led, taillights are original but have a smoked film on them, grill is black mesh.
Overall the car is in good condition and runs and drives great. I daily drove it right up until this Friday (2/23/24). It has hot heat (new heater core), ice cold ac, heated seats cruise etc. Fairly well equipped for an R50.
I'm asking $3200 obo. Car is located in Murfreesboro NC 27855
I have a clean and clear title for it in my name that reflects the mileage.
It is a nice car. The supercharger whine of its replacement is rather addictive though. I would much prefer to sell it to a enthusiast rather than someone that will just run it to the ground and scrap it.
