Description:

Can't afford my 03 mini. Runs great, shows her age. No major body damage but some cosmetic work need to be done. Interior isn't blasted, but not new either.
Needs attention to small issue Re: 4 codes regarding the vapor recovery also need fuel sending unit replaced. I just replaced the left cv axel but still has an unknown "growl" noise I think may be wheel bearing. Someone with the knowhow and the means could make this a great car again, I just can't do it. It is drivable tags good till April 23. All reasonable offers considered. Vehicle is legally mine I possess all the paperwork, previous owners lost the title.

You probably should apply for a new title and acquire it before trying to sell your mini.

. You obviously didn't read my post too well.
Can't afford the car. To get the title I need to fix the sending unit in the tank.

What do you mean by "tags good until April 23"? Whose tags are they? Yours, the prior owner, or someone who the car is titled to?

That, along with the title problem you mention, make the car look stolen.

A car doesn't have to be operable in order for you to obtain a title. From the CA DMV website:

"If you do not plan to operate the vehicle, but wish to obtain a Certificate of Title issued in your name, you may apply for a “Title Only” by completing a REG 256form and a REG 102 form."

So why don't you explain? What country is the car in where the tags are valid from owner to owner?

Please educate me?
