2003 Mini Cooper S

• 6 Speed Manual
• Supercharged
• Tactfully upgraded (see list below)

I’m 46 years old and take great care of all of my cars. I have all records including the invoices for the performance upgrades as well as the owner’s manuals. Clean title in hand.

I bought this car in 2008 and used it as a commute vehicle and loved it. I started adding upgrades to improve handling and performance. I spent over $27,000 on upgrades, listed below, completed by Bay Bridge Bimmers & Minis. The car is now making 300hp but is still reliable and very good on gas because it’s only a 1.6 Liter Engine.

I’ve taken it on the track a few times and it’s an absolute blast! Lately my son and I have been sharing it for weekend drives as it is the best handling car we’ve ever owned. I’m selling because I just bought a Tesla for work and running out of room in the garage.

I checked my calendar and confirmed that today is not April 1st.
A head, camshaft, and intake/exhaust is not going to make 300hp. You're probably making 240hp at the crank.

I agree. There is no way that with those mods you are making 300hp.

You all could be right. I’m comparing the Mini to my Supercharged S2000 that makes 356hp at the wheels (I have the Dyno reports) and when my son and I take both cars out the Mini is neck and neck with my S2000.

But did you factor in the Mini Wings Sticker? That's probably worth 20hp on its own.

Easy to get a dyno and post the chart. If true, this car would be an awesome track beast.

I'm curious what head it has and cam.... there's a chance the engine could be making 300crank hp..
he said it would run well again his sons " supercharged s2000". I could see that easily happening on twisties but what about straitline ? I doubt the mini would hang with even a mild bolt on s2000 straitline.

A stock S2K isn't that fast in a straight line. I had a 06 Si that kept up pretty damn well with multiple S2Ks. They don't have torque.

I would say that a stock R53S or a stock R56S would be able to keep up with a S2K for a bit. A tuned R53/6 would definitely be able to hassle a S2K.

My freinds s2000 STOCK was running lowlow 14s in the 1/4mile once he did few bolt ons and tune he was running mid 13s on street tires stock clutch and differential too.. I know stock r53s are LUCKY to break a 14.99 and are usually 15.3ish to low 16s I've seen numerous people post up about and my personal car when it had bolt ons ran 14.4 and then built but had tuning issues and launch issues and was running a 14.2 best only that day ( got tune adjusted and better tires ) but will be going again in spring on a better dialed in setup and even then I think I'm going to be only in mid to low 13s best. And that's head , cam , aftermarket sc pushed hard ect to get that hopeful mid 13 when my buddies running mid 13s easily with far less into his s2000 than my mini has. Twisties , my car feels by far superior to his but I have a full suspension build too though his is all stock still. Straitline though I know his cars still stronger.

Look , here's a supercharged one on YouTube, supercharged the correct way too as your not just gonna throw on a supercharger on it with no supporting mods. This cars running mid 11s.. FRICKING MID 11S !!!!!! show me an r53 running 11s and I bet it's has nothing less than a full build , nitrous and meth , fully gutted and track tires , then I bet it might might run a low 12 high 11..

C&D S2000

C&D R53 JCW

By the numbers, they're a lot closer stock than I had imagined. Let the bench racing continue!
