Favorite Twisties

I'm always looking for a good road and was hoping folks in the area could share their fast, twisty spots.

Between Verona and Mt. Horeb

Distance:
  • 11 miles
Road Condition:
  • Back roads
  • little run off
  • relatively good condition
Traffic:
  • Little to none; mostly farm land
High points:
  • Some nice elevation changes and sharp, banked turns

Round the (Blue) Mound

Note: Not yet driven. Please comment if you've been on any of these roads.

  • From the map it looks like you'll encounter some wonderful hill views

Been on all these roads with the club. Some are in slightly poorer shape than others. You avoided Cty Rd. K on the west edge. It's the worst of them in the area. If you can work it in or drive it just for the fun of it head south on Forshaug Rd. Good curves with huge drop offs / views.

Yeah, Cty Rd. Q is nice and smooth too.

Devils Delight Rd. is like a very MINI version of the Tail of the Dragon. Fun, if there is not to much sand, gravel, or leaves on the road.
