No more Mini Meets?? I would love to come!

 

hey there! no not really (meets); I got tired of being the only one to show up so I quit going. If you're local try http://www.lowcountry-imports.com/forums.php mostly soobie guys with an occasional MINI or BMW thrown in. They have weekly meets and are a pretty good bunch

 

Do you ever go? Do you attend any other meets? Maybe cars and coffee of something lol
I go to headturners quite a bit.. Good people also, sweet rides too!

 

I do go to C&C occasionally (might take the wife's GXP in the AM) and the other meets; all depends on work schedule

I've had my MINI (08 convertible S) for a couple of years now and am just starting to look into clubs. I was hoping there was an active MINI club that met locally. Would like to meet in groups now and then and share stories.

 

Hey everyone I just wanted to tell anyone looking at these posts looking to get out in the car scene where to go! We have a meet in between hooters and the movie theatre by the Northwoods mall. That one is called Wack Off Tuesday Meats, starts at nine o'clock every Tuesday. It's a very very chill meet everyone is super nice and plenty of imports. Another is in the Sofaking parking lot Saturday nights off rivers next to the Texas Roadhouse. Not to sure when that one starts but it usually dies/moves at midnight. Lots of people and lots of rides of all makes. It's pretty dark out there though so bring your night vision goggles or just show up earlier. I have a MINI Cooper S and I alway wish I'd see more MINI enthusiasts out in the scene. Throw out any meets y'all know about so we can get these MINI'S together. I would gladly start any type of meet and drive I can make a FB group if we have some people willing to get out there and show off there MINI.

well it's nice to see some activity here again; I don't do Facebook (it's da debil!!); but if you get some MINIs together for a cruise or whatever post it here and I'll show up if I can. We used to meet a lot and had good participation , but it fell off with deployments/moves/etc. from some of the drivers.

I was at/in the EuroNation car show a couple of weeks ago at Palmetto Islands County Park and was the only MINI there until a guy showed up in the cleanest classic I've ever seen.......anyway good to see some MINI interest again!

 

How's about a Tuesday night cruise? We can meet at the sofaking parking lot and ride out from there! I've been really wanting a cruise

Hi! I just moved to Mt. Pleasant and was an active member of the MINI Car Club of Indiana in Indianapolis. Wondering if people get together in this area, how to find out about activities, etc. I saw info about meeting at Dunkin Donuts! on the 3rd Saturday - I'll plan to show up and see if anyone else is there! Looking forward to meeting some fellow MINI owners!

If anyone is on here and may not be aware... On Tuesday the 19th, there is a meeting (hopefully a drive of some sort, maybe just meet & greet) at Mini of Charleston at 6:30 pm. Hopefully there's someone on this forum that will be there. I'd love to get something going in this area as there seem to be a lot of Minis around!

Aww man! I was happy to see a low country club as I registered today. But now I'm sad as it looks dead.

I used to have a good time with my Chrysler LH group. But since production stopped in 2004, the cars and members started dropping off after 2010. Now I am back into a moddable current production fun car and there's nobody to play with :(

There is a upstate mini club most of them are older tho.

 

Yep- they do more eating than drives but it's well-organized. The UECC (Update Euro Car Club) is a lot younger in general.
