Has anyone had an issue where you get a drive train error, and the only code present is 21B154 Spark plugs over wear limit? I’ve just had this on my F54 LCI JCW and replacing the plugs and resetting the code has not resolved the problem. In fact, the plugs that came out looked fairly new. On reset, the code just comes back as soon as the car is started.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

Update, the supplying dealer sent the car back to Mini, the spark plug wear limit has been reset and all is now OK.

 

I'm running into the same issue right now on my LCI F54 JCW. I just hit a bit over 60K miles when it first popped up, but didn't think my plugs or coils were bad as I replaced them at 45K with a set of Dinan coils and Bosch double platinum plugs and has been running great. Ironically, I had a set of Brisk Racing plugs in there from 32K -> 45K miles and they were worn out to the point that boosting under load would cause extreme missing, but it never once set a code for misfires or anything else.
