Lower Grille for 2023 JCW??

I’m all about air flow to the motor for cooling and the intake, but also not a fan of an opening big enough for a bird to fly in. Has anyone found an aftermarket grille or screen for the lower half of the front grille area?

The stock grill works perfectly fine. More air/cooling does not make it run better unless it was designed specifically for that extra volume of air/cooling.

You could use a Dremel tool to open the grill holes, but there are reinforcements behind the closed parts, so you won't gain anything from that exercise.

The lower grill feeds the intercooler and the brake cooling ducts.

Appreciate the points. I was being a little sarcastic in my first post. Not looking for more airflow, the engineer in me knows it has plenty. My comment was more about making it so something come off the road can’t impact the intercooler radiator through the very large openings at the bottom.

I've seen a few screens some have made which look great. I use plastic "gutter-guard" and situate it back far enough that it's hard to see. I put a small roll of it on the auxillary radiator (driver side) hole. I wish I knew how to fabricate a metal screen...but, as it is, I've stopped a couple of rocks that were caught in the home-made solution I have.

I've put gutter-guard behind all the grills on my cars for probably the past 15-maybe 20 years....never know if it prevented a hole in the radiator/transmission coolers, but, it makes me feel better.
