Hi all, looking to hear how people have got on? What sort of power and torque levels are you seeing? Any issues with the auto box handling the power/torque.

I am referring to the later clubman JCW's 2020 onwards.

Check out these YouTube vids for a couple of examples. I have considered tuning but have a few more things I want to buy first.

Thanks I've watched those before but they are off the shelf tuning boxes installed without any before or after dyno runs. I was after someone that actually has a custom tune or has been near a dyno. Those two as far as I can see are just quoting numbers the suppliers have told them they should get. I know of a GP3 that was around 380bhp with a custom tune that has been on a dyno so assume atleast that is possible on the JCW clubman. But no-one has really commented RE the autobox and its capability long term to work with that increased torque

Noone in the states has a tune for it as of yet. Companies in the UK have Full ECU tunes available but they will not remote tune. It must be done at their shop. Trust me, I have offered to ship a brand new ECU to them to have unlocked and flashed, but none of the UK companies will do it.

Personally I couldn't see a reason to tune my car unless I were going to track it. I tuned my JCW Coupe and felt like "why did I do this"? True, if I were tracking the car (and the JCW Coupe is supposedly the best Mini all time on the track) it would be different, but on the highway or on the street I don't think so.
