2019 Clubman JCW suspension upgrade options.

We just took delivery of a new to us '19 Clubman JCW. It has the adaptive suspension. What are the options for suspension upgrades for this car? I find the car a little too bouncy, not firm like a sport tunes suspension usually is.

I think people has changed the rear antiswaybar. Obviously don't mess with the (adjustable) dampers. I recall people cautioning about messing with the springs too but don't quote me on that.

If it is bouncy, especially in the comfort setting, it suggests you have a shock problem. If you hit a bump and the car moves up and down more than once, the shocks aren't doing their job. I would check those first and make sure they are in working order. It is the cheapest option.

If your shocks are in working order, the next step is wheels and tires. Ditch the runflats, get one inch smaller wheels, and run all season tires with softer sidewalls as a first step. That should increase compliance significantly. If you are in the US, Tire rack sells some 17" wheels that fit the 2019 Clubman JCW that look close to stock.

I am not sure on your next step. If you still feel like your car is bouncy, you need slightly taller than stock springs with a lower spring rate. I think those are going to be hard to find. Switching to coilovers lets you pick your spring rates but you lose the dynamic shocks.
