JCW Another Pricing thread
Was it new (2019)with no mileage? I'm hard pressed to buy one because my 2010 Laurel is in excellent condition with 11,000m. but I like the safety features, navi and back up camera in the JCW. Should I get decent price and trade I might consider a new JCW.
Deals seem to depend a lot on where you are shopping. Some dealers with more of a monopoly are holding to prices harder than is reasonable considering the big slump in the sale of small cars. MINI near me in Portland has no competition within 3 hours drive so they don't want to deal as much as a big metro area with several dealers nearby.
Shop and fly or drive if needed and you have the time to do so. Or stick with what you have and add the tech, back up cameras are easy to do and navigation can be tackled with an upgraded Android in dash unit.

I saw a 2019 Knights Edition JCW at Warwick Mini in RI. I'm curious what they're gonna let it go for.

Yep... most likely will. Nothing negative about the Laurel E. My mother once said.....The price of a new car makes your old car run better.
Dealer out here has a International Orange Edition listed for $43,950 but got an email from the sales department saying they'll let it go for $38,995. They just can't seem to sell it and it's fully loaded JCW. Seems like they're taking a big hit on that one.
Seattle Mini has been sitting on a Knight's Edition for a while now. I haven't ever bothered to check the price when I'm there though.
The JCW is in the showroom. Sitting for 1 month. Light scratches on the hood as a kid though it was a big toy. I doubt the dealer is going to budge.

I was offered a International Orange at 6300 off, funny the one in Oxnard, they offered 6k off...the Knights edition was offered to me for 5500 off but I will never own a black car again, even a little black car. I ended up getting 7100 off MSRP. The GM said sales were horrible or he would never have done this deal. I didn't even push that hard but instead of writing a check I let them run me through Mini Financial and I bought the 600 dollar service agreement. They liked me enough they offered the GP3 at MSRP if I wanted their first one, I said as long as I could spec I would buy it. I left a deposit and got a contract.
I like Mini's, ever since my E60 M5 broke down on the 3rd day of ownership and got one as a loaner.

I'm keeping the Laurel. Had it serviced. Looks awesome. Absolutely showroom. Runs great. It’s a keeper. And paid for. Selling privately is not my thing unless the right buyer comes along. There goes the pretty Blue/Red Works....but I'll live thought it. Maybe I'll custom order someday.
The loaner was a Countryman S (auto). Felt like a boat. Did not like it. It's definitely not a MINI.
