Look at the width of the tires. They appear to be a couple of inches wider than the body. It would also makes sense that the air flow, from the well flares, would pass air over the tires and help with brake and tire cooling. There is also no inlet for cooling on the rear brakes on a F56. There is also this issue of rear camber on the rears and the heat generated. Wasn't the GP designed for weekend racing and not a cute daily drive?

Iam sure the result is more GP, than any other attempt before. A typical case of "unripe grapes".
