2016 JCW alignment adjustments

Hi all! I just purchased a 2016 JCW. I replaced the tires and want to get an alignment. I’m getting mixed information from different dealers as to what adjustments are actually available for my model. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

If you are intending to remain within OEM specs, what difference does it make?

Or are you seeking a custom job?

The F56 does not support camber or caster adjustment out front, except through alternate hubs. Toe is adjustable of course.

At the back, eccentric bushings allow camber adjustment, and toe as well.

Cheers,

Charlie

Thanks for the response Charlie! I want to stick with OEM, but was looking to do it at Firestone since they offer a lifetime alignment which is beneficial since Houston roads are filled with potholes. From having a BMW in the past, I know that not all shops are equipped with the correct gear to do complete alignments. I was checking what Firestone told me they were able to do against Mini dealers in the area. All dealers said toe and camber for the rear. However, one said toe only for the front, another said toe and camber and the third said toe, camber and caster. I just wanted to make sure I did all my research before having the service done.

I have had my 2017 JCW aligned at a Firestone with my lifetime alignment a couple of times, including after adding Eibach Springs and front and rear sway bars, along with adjustable end links in the rear, and beefier links up front. No problems either time.

I added the Forge adjustable rear tie bars to give a little more options in the back: https://myredmini.com/forge-adjustable-rear-tie-bars/
