Exclamation Solution 4 Tissue Box, where? what? how? Opinions please.

My season for allergies, so I keep a tissue box in the car (aka, Kleenex).

Like most 2 passenger cars (JCW 2DR HB), it is tight for space.

My question is, does anybody know or have a more eloquent and convenient place to have a kleenex box? I have mine on the passenger seat (it ends up all over the place door panel, passenger foot well, all over the place when I corner and boot around).

Apart from those little packages of kleenex, that you keep in the door map... what is everybody else doing for the Mini.

Cheers

May sound silly, but have you considered putting the seat belt on? I've done done in various occasion to prevent stuff from moving around. If there is a passenger, problem solve. He or she can hold the box. Lol

I don't know if the space will allow you or not but buy a long roll of velcro at the local hardware store. Put a strip of the soft side on the carpet in front of your seat as close to your seat as possible and put a very small part of the hook side on the bottom of the box. Keep that piece small because you will throw it away when you discard the box. Perhaps your driving habits are such that it won't be in your way.

Doesn't have to be his one. But maybe you can make something similar. Attach to the head rest and have of passenger side?

Your on a Roll MiniF55 LMFAO...

It may seem mundane a thing, but... I have a place for my garage door opener, a place for my cellphone, a place for my change... but not a tissue box. There are no recessed or cubbies to place a kleenex box (they come in so many sizes now) within reach from the Driver's seat and Always be there in times of need.

I think velcro is the way to go with perhaps a plastified (like those plastified pouches of sani-wipes) version of a kleenex pouche that I will lay a strip of hook and loop tape to it. Perhaps stick it on the passenger side of the dash console (just to the right of the gear shift ****).

Half sized box fits in door pocket or under netting on center wall. I usually toss a box in the back and after a year or so it gets a well worn squished look. Then again you could just wear long sleeved shirts, lol.

I have a few of those travel sized kleenex packs (~15 tissues per pack) in the door lower cubby in case I need tissues

What 3lusive said.....these small packets are kind of a pain, but they are small...will fit in the center console also. I know how it is with allergies too!

I always buckle in my lunch on the way to work. My lunch bag would get thrown all over the place if I didn't

Have you checked out the round Kleenex containers? I hear they fit in some cars cup holders.

i just got a bluetooth speaker with a carabiner on it. Carabiners are amazing.

There is a lot of surface area on the dash in a MINI. You just need to find a way to get the box stay put.

I always have a full size box on the floor behind the passenger seat, This is the best place you can find. You just have to extend your arm and you are at reach.

I went with...

I decided to go with TrueEddie's solution and I DID in fact find at the local WallyWorld the Kleenex that fit in the cup holder.

The fit is a little too tight, and it sits rather high, when placed in one of the two front cup holders. So, I decided to put in the middle seat rear cup holder. It stays put, I can get to it, and it works for me.

After researching a bit, I noticed a clip or two on YouTube on how to go about making your own cup holder tissue holder dispenser. The neat thing about that one, is you can actually print out custom print designs. I find the Kleenex one's rather, Kleenexie (they lack TOTAL imagination, and it is like they did not want to pay out any royalties for designs... what a missed opportunity).

Cheers
