I picked up a set of used jcw floormats off CL for $10. The PO tried to clean them and scrubbed away some of the black checkers. I inspected them and the texture was in great condition. I cleaned the white checkers and after dry, I masked off the whole mat and traced the design then cut it with a razor blade. I resprayed the black with a black vinyl and cloth spray paint, specifically made for automotive interiors, including carpet. Now they look 95% new. Except the JCW logo is a bit chipped, faded, and a corner broken. I don't suppose this piece is available anywhere? I could buy bigger one from eBay and retrofit it. Not bad for $10 and $10 in materials. And about an hour masking. Post a picture tomorrow. To dark now and the paint is still curing.
