Order placed...now the wait!

This will be my fourth Mini, but first JCW and I couldn't be more excited. I've always wanted a JCW, and I think this might be the best yet!

JCW in Lapisluxury Blue AT w/ paddles (wife can't drive stick...and after driving the AT at the dealer, I actually really like it)
Premium Package
Wired Package XL w/ Nav
Black cloth dinamica & heated
Piano Black w/ Glowing Red color line

And my MA wasn't sure about the no cost option of Piano Black Center Instrument Ring, but we're both assuming (and hoping) that means it's going to replace the checkered stuff around the screen. I'll let you know in 8-10 weeks!

And just for fun, here's a pic of my wife's new MCS in British Racing Green, fully loaded.

Congrats!

I wish the piano black trim was also free. It was for the R56.

The piano black interior trim is a $200 option as I recall & that does not include the center bezel afaik....that may be an extra cost. I'm not sure but I think the marked bezel is still stock in the JCW. They ran out of stock at some point & began going piano black, which some prefer. I don't mind the JCW ring personally as I set my tach to the light ring which is nice!

Good luck.....your JCW sounds great!

Yeah, I got the interior trim at the 200, but there was an additional box to check that specified the bezel...at least we hope that's what it refers to. In either case, more piano black anywhere wouldn't be a bad thing, I quite like it since I've had it in my CMS.

Finally got a completion date...May 17th...then 4-6 weeks travel time. Patience patience. Oh, and I made a last minute audible and changed to the black/red dianamica seats...I just thought it would tie in the red color line nicely.

I've always leased my Minis so mods have been few and far between, mostly limited to aesthetics that can be reversed. This one...I'm buying, so the list of wish list mods is growing by the day.

I'm sure there are many opinions as to what should be done first, but here are some things I'm considering...some things are to come later, as I want to drive the car as it was built for a while to get a feel for it, and to help determine priorities. The car will be a daily driver and likely won't see a track (unless it's track day at COTA?).

de-chroming (first things first)
stripes
strongly considering having the track spoke wheels powder coated matte
spacers? (I wish the wheels were a little more flush, especially in the back)
NM Module
suspension

I like the Lapis Blue with the Black roof & mirrors! Looks much better on Lapis than the Red imo.
