Very nice specs. Moonwalk Grey has been a popular color choice lately that has popped up on NAM. I love it. Can't wait to see it with the Chili Red roof and mirror caps. Don't forget to post pictures for us when you get some!

Nice Moonwalk grey, you will like the new led headlights but after the first night driving with them coming from Xenon, you eye might have to take some time to adjust, mine hurt it a little it was so bright.
UPDATE - found out the car's in body shop today, looks like 4/7 completion might make it! What are some of the typical shipping times people are getting? Mine will be hopping off in Baltimore port.
Looks like you'll be able to take advantage of the $1000 off incentive mini is offering to those who take delivery between April 15 and May 15. Make sure you register.

My JCW was built on June 4, 2015 (one of the 1st 6MT JCW's built!) and it arrived in PA via NJ port on July 1st if that gives you any idea. Hate to say it, but 3 to 4 weeks from build is probably about right for a trip across the large pond! Hope it's quicker for you though!
I like the look of that car a lot. I have the grey/red thing going on too. I bet it will be a gas to drive. You're gonna miss that Roadster though even though is wasn't a JCW.

Thank you for the heads up - I contacted my dealer and yep, it is available. I just need to drive down to Sterling VA for a test drive (part of the registration). Will gladly do that for the $1000 off!

Thanks John! Production was finished on 4/7 and is now waiting to get on a ship. The dealer says that the wait time to get on the ship can be 2-3 weeks - but is only like 11 days for the actual transport. The good news is that it will be dropped off at port in Baltimore - one of the first US stops.

Thanks! Yea, it wasn't easy to decide to trade the Roadster in but after relocating to Delaware/Philly area, and it being my daily driver, I decided to get back into a hard-top. No doubt, when MINI builds another roadster, and if I get a 2 car garage I'll be in the market again!

I'm not sure you can get the discount after you've already ordered. It was due to MINI's spring sale. I got a $1000 discount last spring when I ordered my JCW but was told they normally don't apply the discount to the more expensive JCW.....I got the discount but the car needed to be delivered by a certain date in order for my dealer to receive their credit from MINI.....they made the deadline "barely" since it took so long for the manual 2015 JCW's to be produced! So, my dealer put a rush on my car when it arrived at the port. LOL! I had my discount either way....so I was pulling for them! :-)
Good luck with the wait....in the meantime watch YouTube!

I was concerned about the same thing but clarified that with the sales manager yesterday - just need to get there between 4/15-4/24 and do a test drive
I know what you mean about waiting longer for manual JCW, took much longer to get through production but that part is over now. I fill my time now looking at mods This key fob mod is really cool, not sure how many HP it's good for though? Skip to the end to see the shapeways generated model - there's a coupon code listed for $10 off too! Dramatically reduces the size of the Gen 3 keyfob.
