Were you able to register for the $1000 incentive?
How do we register for the discount?

Go to your local MINI dealer, register there, take a test drive - you're IN! Note that the $1000 decreases the longer it takes for you to take possession. Full details/rules are at www.miniusa.com

Update on delivery!

Sorry for not posting earlier but I spent the weekend driving all around VA, MD, PA and back home to DE! I love the car but have to admit I'm adjusting to some of the technology and the power! Here's some of the pics I took - immediately after taking possession, I drove it to Dave at Proshield Inc in Chantilly, VA for Clearbra and window tinting. He's done the paint protection for my Roadster as well and is really OCD in getting the job done right! Everything is custom fitted and not a kit...

One question to the group - I feel more body roll with this vehicle than the roadster, but also notice that lateral traction is actually better on the "fun" roads I would normally drive with the Roadster. I'm assuming that a stiffer rear sway bar and maybe lowering .25 or .50" would help?

Very nice color combo. What kind of tint did you go without?

Thank you! Brand is: SunTek EXP - 30% for front windows, 20% on rear, Limo on Sun Strip and sun roofs. Here's a few more pics when they were applying tint/Clearbra

That clear bra is an amazing process.....if I had more experience with it I might have done that. Just like anything else though, if it's unfamiliar you tend to be a bit afraid of it. I suppose having it means you can't get therapy polishing & waxing the bonnet eh? I'd miss that personally.

Your JCW looks absolutely awesome!

How do you like the suntek carbon XP tint? I've read that it has a greenish hue and the clarity is not that good when looking out at an angle. From the pictures you posted, I do not see any green.

Zero green hue at all an no issues with clarity. I lived 20+ years in Phoenix, AZ so I've tried many different films and this is one of the best.

I was also concerned with possible ezpass and GPS interference but no problems at all.
