The straight though pipe doesn't show on the vid. I'm wondering if flames shot out. Reminds me of the the antilag systems on the Supra MKIV.

No flames, but a great sound!

Interesting results. I thought the straight pipe would lose hp and tq but your chart shows otherwise. How loud is the exhaust with the flap closed at wot? Do you have a vid of it?

my wife had one with it, but it was not the run where maximum RPMs were reached. I cannot tell any difference between the closed pipe with the JCW PRO from the stock one. But, my hearing is not the greatest. I just asked her your question and she advised me that it was the same as the original exhaust.

Awesome! There's plenty of power in these F56 JCW's....enough for me anyway.

Love it in the video when the rear end squats down under full load...Very nice!

My wife advised me that this is the link where she videoed the pull that he used during the dynamometer test for the graph with the exhaust closed. There were 2 pulls in that mode and I was not sure which one was the correct one. She assured me that this is the one. It is not nearly as frantic as the one with the exhaust open and he accelerated more slowly and there is not neat squat like the one with it open. Different sounding beast completely.

Great dyno's in here. It really shows how strong the F56 JCW feels on the road.

Bring on the MOTD, it seems like it is forever until May. Although there will be too many vehicles to really twist and squeal, however there are a lot of good roads in the area and we may prolong the visit for some extracurricular twisting! The feel between the open and closed exhaust feels different to the butt dyno, but that may simply be sound enhancement.
