HUD display features?

I've looked high and low and can't find a couple of answers I'm looking for regarding the HUD. What all is capable of being displayed on the screen, and how do I active those features?

Also....sometimes the speed is amber in color, and other times it's white, regardless if my lights are on or not. What determines this?

Thanks!

HUD display stuff is under set up. I would have to play with it again to tell you the steps. I dont use my HUD, I find it annoying.

I can help you with the speed. It doesn't matter if your lights are on or not. The car senses darkness and adjusts that and your nav map for you. It was probably at dusk or dawn that this happened.

Yeah....I've messed with all those settings. I just wanted to know what's capable of being displayed. So far I've seen MPH, Outside Temp, Cruise Control, Song Titles, Phone call contact, Fasten Seat Belt....I think that's it so far.

I saw a picture in another thread that had RPM and gear for the JCW. How do I get that to pop up, or is it even an option?

Thanks BTW.....

You'll also see navigation instructions as well if you have XL. REALLY handy to have as all your instructions are right in your line of sight. Any check control messages show up there as well.

I love mine. It's one of those features I didn't think I needed, but would really miss not having it.

So let me ask you guys a bit off topic.

When using the HUD you get that littel turn notice, you can see it in the picture.

How come on the actual Nav screen I do not get that like my other Navs? Is what I mean is when you get close to your turn you dont get a close up or anything. The screen just stays the same.

If you use destination with split screen, you'll see the turn along with whatever interstate signs may be there in the 'split' portion. But you'll have to have a destination entered of course.

Ok I will try that. I did have a destination in. I did not try split screen.
