Nose cone replacement

Alright,

Was doing a pulley swap. Had to cut off factory jcw pulley. Fudged up the bearing in the nose cone.
Ordering a new nose cone to install...
Does anyone know what kind of sealant, if any, should go between the mating surfaces? Didn't look like there was any, but maybe some orange sealant, on previously.

Any input is appreciated and thank you in advance

That's great but not really what this thread is about.
Yes I should have bought the tool. But I didn't. And now I'm replacing the nose cone.
All I need to know is what kind of gasket maker or sealant to use for the mating surfaces.

Regards.

Sorry, didn't mean to go off topic. Just trying to help, there hasn't been a removal tool for the JCW guys until recently.

Yeah I used the press at my shop and screwed the pulley so I tried cutting it. I don't recommend cutting it. Nor do I even recommend trying to remove the jcw pulley as hp gains aren't that good. But I wanted to because the 17% and GP intercooler make a nice street setup.

Live and learn I suppose.

Hopefully someone knows what to use so I can get her back on the road!!
