Chrono Pack?

Just noticed the 'Chrono Pack' option on miniusa.com. I was looking through build options, and swear that I'd never seen this before. This seems like a pretty cool option that adds some additional gauges to monitor boost preasure, oil pressure, and a lap timer. Now i have to go back to the dealer to get it added to my build. LOL.

Am i hallucinating or was this not there before?

You will loose the HUD. I personally think the HUD has more value.

I'm sure Cravenspeed or someone else will eventually have an after market gauge kit and brackets for the Gen 3's. Then you could have the best of both.

Honestly - I saw these at the auto show and they are really plasticky and cheap looking and feeling. The idea is a good one though the hud is invaluable for Nav at night. I agree about aftermarket gauges knecht - will be way better.

I just sent Cravenspeed an email asking if they are working on anything for the Gen 3's. Their nGauge setup for the R series looks nice and it's easy to install.

Cravenspeed has confirmed they are very close to completing a gauge pack for the Gen 3's. I would hold tight for theirs.

Good to know! So I'll stay with the HUD and wait for your gauges.

I agree a Scangauge is more useful. Gauges just look cooler.

A scangauge is a great tool, it is just never going to look like it belonged in the MINI. I feel like a properly done set of gauges blends right in and gets you the information you are looking for in the format you want.
