Yeah, interesting...I thought they didn't start production until late March...
Those are clearly stock photos used as placeholders - the renders are of a Cooper. The VIN decoder, does correctly label it as a JCW model with the B48O engine though so it is legit. We'll have to stay tuned to see when they post photos.

Just got confirmation from my MA that Mini of Bedford in New Hampshire has one on the lot, which is about 3 miles from me. I will be stopping by to check it out after work today just to add to the frustration of waiting for my manual JCW which will not be here until July or August.
I find it so weird that one has made it all the way here and not one has been seen in the UK or Europe. Not one test drive. Chaos you should take a drive a write it up and sell it to all the car mags/online publishers. :-)

We currently have one at our dealership. 6 speeds won't go into production until late June. As far as wait time folks, nothing is concrete,ever. Everything is estimates and all depends on how many cars are ahead of yours. In the West coast we can even order one yet. The one we have(launch car) doesn't even have the same exhaust I have with my upcoming tuning kit.

That's because the fJCW doesn't come with that aftermarket tuning kit exhaust, the one with the remote thingy.

According to my MA each dealer get a number of vehicles in each production run. Apparently there are still openings for the June run. (Dealers often trade spots) If I can't get a June spot I'm pushing my build to August as that will likely be the start of the 2016 models.
