With Turning 20,000 Miles I Did a Little Two Tank Test

Tank1: The way I Like to Drive
- Sport Mode Always On
- Shifting 3.5 to 4K
- Run With Traffic ( Or Through Traffic )
- Result 25.6 MPG

Tank 2: HoHum Driving
- Never in Sport Mode
- Shifted 1.8 to 2K
- Speed Limit. When You are Doing 55 and Traffic is at 70 I had UnHappy
People Behind Me.
- Would Slow to Hit Lights Still Rolling When Possible
- Result 32.6 MPG

Filled her up this afternoon for a 36 mile back road jaunt home, sport button on, and accelerator to the floor. Life is Much Better Again

 

I hate to even suggest, but if the government really want auto makers to increase fuel mileage best bang for the buck is lower speed limits and enforce it.
