First....great eye on just a corner of the car. It is a 3.0 convertible. You have the grand pooba of Z3's. Not only the M but the M Coupe. (240 hp)

Wow. Nice.

I have a alpine White 2001 Z3 3.0 Convertible (225 ph), 2006 JCW (pepper white).

I used to have a white Z3M Roady (S54-315hp) a few years back. Love these cars! I am jealous of your MINI. looks amazing in PW with black accents.

Not sure what is more fun...the Z3 or the Mini cooper but I do know what one to drive daily. The Mini is far more comfortable.

OK...I finally opened up my car a little bit tonight. (You know, over 4500 rpm... )

That is a fun damn car. The sound up there is amazing. Does anyone know how to remove the Noise flap mechanism in the JCW airbox?

It's pretty easy to do.. I just unhooked the linkage from the vacuum mechanism in the air box.. Simply pull the top of the air box and the rest is pretty self explanatory. I want more exhaust noise from mine, not quite loud enough

Of course you have the JCW exhaust tips. That sound is not enough for you?

This Wednesday, I hope to get the stripe kit put on. Looking forward to that. Next up, blacking out all the chrome. Small/subtle changes I know but changes non the less.

Aero kit on PW looks great again. Nice pics, the tint does make the windows and pillar look uniform.

There are no JCW side scuttles for the R53 ( Or Gen 1). There was JCW logo side scuttles as part of the R50 Factory Tuning Kit , but they are NLA. They were just a JCW attached to the black R50 side scuttle ( vent ).

We do have chrome ones. They are all chrome and have a cross stitched vent pattern, no side light with these.

Cooper S version ( chrome ):

Thanks

Darn it.

You are welcome. Some people like the Cooper side vents when going for the blackout look.

Thanks
