I have an 08 with the JCW Aerodynamic Package (and JCW tuning kit) and a (right) plastic insert/cover peace has fallen out of my rear bumper. In the install manual is is called "towing eye cover" part AK. Does anyone know of a place I can order this part? I tried searching but without a true part number I can't find any info.

Had ordered from Pelican before your post. However this is not the part. It is about 2" too long and nothing like the other side. See pics.

EDIT: After looking that looks like the top piece on the passenger side. Never noticed that it was an insert until now. However I need the BOTTEM "grill" looking insert.

This looks like the piece (or the wrong side piece).

However you say left, your site says left and to me that is the driver's side. I'm missing the passenger side as shown in my picture.

It is this the Passenger side that I need or is it the driver's side that I don't need?

MINI (and all car) rant: Right and left shouldn't be used on a car IMO because of the confusion it causes since it is relative (to me left/right should be in the seated position but still confusing). It should always be driver/passenger since this is an absolute.

 

....different MINI's have different driver/passenger sides, aka UK MINI's are right hand drive therefore the drivers side is the right side. That is why the terms left and right are used to describe parts. It is always based on the position of the part looking forward while seated in the car. A global world surrounds us.

 

Thanks for the picture, I can see what you were talking about now, I thought you were trying to use the upper piece on the right side ( passenger ) for the bottom left ( driver ).

On our site left is driver side and right is passenger for US version MINIs, like mentioned above.
