Besides the cosmetic stuff (both interior and exterior), it has a mildly modded powertrain and upgraded brakes.

It comes standard with the base suspension (not even the optional sport suspension).

2014's are not out and neither are the specs. Remember that will be the F56 with the 2.0 liter turbo.

Which model? The 2014 2-door hatchback is a completely new car and the JCW version won't be available for at least a year.

The other models (convertible, roadster, Clubman, coupe) will continue essentially unchanged from 2013 and still available in JCW version.

For those that aren't aware, this is in the Countryman section. I didn't realize it when I first read the thread on my phone, but now I'm on my computer.

I don't think the brakes are upgraded on the CMJCW. I might be wrong. I am on my phone so someone else can chime in if I am wrong.

Tune is different. The JCW is to sophisticated for Pop and Burble so you get none of that.

MINIUSA says the JCW Countryman comes standard with "Front Brembo brake calipers with ventilated brake discs" (also, "John Cooper Works Tuned Sport Suspension").

But from RealOEM the only difference between the S and the JCW are the callipers :( The front disks are the same size and have the same code!

I see your point. The standard front discs are already ventilated! When they say "Front Brembo brake calipers with ventilated brake discs", it is a true statement but it makes you think there is more to it.

Likely a marketing move for the Countryman. My Clubman pops and burbles all over town.
