Do these LED fogs from Mini exist?

I stumbled across this article on MotoringFile and would like to have these. I think they look way better than stock. It seems tho that it may have just been a one of a kind show piece.

http://www.motoringfile.com/2013/04/...ebut/#comments

EDIT: I was trying to open up the coments and it finally did. I guess they do exist, Part #63122338554

No availability for those in Germany until 06/07/2013, and mid July for USA.

Retail is over $500 each ?

Remind me of the aftermarket halo front bumper marker/directionals for the 1st gen.

Available now actually if you order from UK. See thread " MINI led fog lights". Less than $500 for the pair.

My guess would be that aftermarket vendors there bought up initial run of these lights.....I checked the part number with MINI and it is as I stated.

The next available batch will not be available until dates I posted.....

PS: These are also listed as NLA = Y ....so could be after June's inventory replenishment there may not be any more available...

You don't get them from MINI, you get them here: http://www.minigenuineparts.co.uk/mi...2_338_554.html

Did you check there?

If you read what I wrote ( post #2) it reads they were not available in GERMANY....made no mention of other sources who may have them in EUROPE who purchased the first run of lights....again, I checked the main source for them, MINI.

That said, they will be state side (USA) in about 7 weeks. And btw since I'm not married to you, don't tell me what to do, lol Thank you!

FWIW, regarding availability in Germany, not true. I live in Germany and just ordered them yesterday. The cost is €270.

They exist in the UK and are available from all main dealers and have been since about early May.

I have a pair fitted and they are excellent. Plenty of information, fitting instructions and pictures available on the TotalMini site.

I'm assuming 230 British pounds correct? Which is around 500 in US Dollars I think.

Darn, the cheapest I've been able to get my dealer down to is about $430ish USD when they become available. I guess I have to do some shopping around when they get here.

I saw these on a Mini Coupe last weekend at MOT in NH.
Never had a chance to meet and talk with the owner...but they looked awesome....I think better than the new mini DRL....

Anybody see them before ?Do these LED fogs from Mini exist?-img_4809.jpg

Yeah I believe you can get them on eBay. I know they aren't hard to find online too.

Update! They've been delayed into the US at least twice, with the latest date projected to be Mid-September (I think the 18th) at $504 list. Through SuperGreg's source I was able to purchase them from sales@minigenuineparts.co.uk for $463 delivered in 3 days! Getting them installed at the dealer next week.

Estimated fitting time about 1.5 hours.

What has to be done? OR am I better off just changing the bulb out for an LED as mentioned in other threads?
