JCW JCW Side Skirts/Aero Kit
JCW Side Skirts/Aero Kit
After multiple emails w/Justin at Sewell, he's added the JCW Countryman side skirt/aero kit as a pkg.. (Similar to the JCW lip w/all parts needed)
I ordered one from him yesterday (they didn't have all the parts separate) and it's going to be approx. 2 weeks before it arrives. The kit runs $1100 +shipping.
Note: If you check their site, I believe they state front spoiler is included in that pkg. and I believe that's a print error.

Rec'd aero kit yesterday and pulled "all-nighter" & installed. Thanks Justin!

The side skirts are wider (hang lower) than the OEM rocker so front mudflaps had to be lowered by almost 2". Since the mudflaps are molded to body contour, it was a little tricky lowering, drilling new mounting holes staying in contour w/body lines.

looks like they still fit well.
since the skirts hang a little lower are extensions for the jacking point blocks needed or are the standard blocks deep enough ?
if sewell sold these prepainted i'd be all over a set.

re: prepainted - you might check w/Justin at Sewell he might be able to arrange to have them painted or check w/a local painter, there's not alot to painting them.
Those work for your car? I got a set for BMWs along with the plate with the male tab for the jack itself and they do not work with the JCW side skirts.
The only possible way it would work is if the spacers are very tall and the male tab on the jack plate is very tall as well. Otherwise, the jack ends up pushing on the side skirt, which is very very bad.

Edit: Read the link; it's removable. Only one needed per car.
Also, does anyway have measurements for the female end of the jack-point spacers? I want to check whether they are different from the BMW ones I bought.
i was told from my mini dealer, who didn't have them in stock, to see if a bmw dealer had them because they were the same part and share the same part number between them so i would have to imagine they were identical.
Any idea whether this will work with the extender:

I checked at the BMW dealer. BMW's have four of these "Jack Pad - Under Car Support Pad for Lifting Car" (Part # 517 170 39760) permanently mounted on the four jack points on the cars.
So do we need to do the same for the our Countryman's? I am referring to item 4 shown in the earlier posted diagram, which is the "Jack Pad - Under Car Support Pad for Lifting Car" (Part # 517 170 39760); not the "JWC Extension Block" (Part # 517 171 88454) which is item 5 in that diagram.
If Mini does not provide the Jack Pad preinstalled on the cars and general not stock the part, how do they expect you to use the provided jack?
Also what is the Part # for the "male tab for the jack itself" or "plate" that goes on the jack, mentioned earlier?
