2006 MCS JCW/non jcw cooling fan question
Hey guys, I got an 06 MCS JCW with the chrono package.
The other day in stop and go traffic I was barley moving and I noticed my temp gauge creep up a bit past where it normally sits.
Normally on my car with the chrono pack, the needle sits at about 12 o'clock position, I think?? this is normal?
I let the car idle and I was outside waiting to see when the fan would come on and I noticed it took a good 10 mintues or so and the temp gauge moved a bit past 12 o'clock to maybe 11 or a little more then finally the coolant fan kicked in..
Is this normal? Most cars I have driven if the temp needle stays at half, it usually stays there even when the fan comes on, it does not need to move past that mark first before the fan comes on.
Is this normal behavior or is my fan taking too long before it comes on?
Any insight would be great.
