I built one exactly to my liking at the mini website. It came to 42k.
My Mustang was 40k with EVERY option except the moon roof (too heavy). My original plan was to keep the Mustang and then have the mini as my city car - but two 40k cars? Thats extreme...

Now I have to decide if I want the JCW to replace my Mustang. Ouch... thats a hard decision. I love my 5.0.

Beautiful. When I configured mine online, I also did the red with black stripes and the black roof with red stripes. I also really want those recaros. But 45k for a used 2010?

I configured mine at 42k new with everything, not sure how they can justify 45k.

Edit: I don't like how its lowered and I don't like the style of the wheels, but I'm nitpicking...

What do you guys think of this? http://www.mycarguy-sf.com/2009-cust...s-hardtop.html

I call BS on his figure of $51k for the options, but it does have a lot of nice upgrades for 31k. This JCW is only a few miles from my house.

CarFax gave it two-thumbs-up!
KBB was 31k which is his asking price.

What you guys think?

$45k. They are NEVER going to get that. That is insane. I have an 09 JCW with all the factory options minus the Nav and PDC. I have the JCW suspension and the M7 wing and hood scoop. I have all the JCW CF bits and more. No Recaro seats though.

Someone replaced the stock JCW exhaust with an Alta???

I have every part that was taken off my car including the sport suspension and factory aero kit.

I have 28,000 miles on my car. It was RMW tuned to 242 whp and 275 tq. Give me 35k and its yours . See sig for link to Flickr pics.

I agree... I’ll bet the previous owner has that in it in a heart beat but they’ll never get that.

Hell, I’d sell Oscar for 28K

Those prices are INSANE! Either that or I just got an amazing deal on my car.

To give you some perspective, I picked up a used 2009 JCW Clubman in November of last year with Sport, Premium, Cold Weather, and Comfort packages as well as a number of other options for $23k. The car was flawless with 16k miles. Granted, it didn't have lounge leather (wish it did but don't care now) or Nav but other than that it was loaded. When I was looking I found many others at or near this price point. The one downfall, the car was in LA (good for you, bad for me). $600 to ship it later and it was mine. There was an identical car for sale in Seattle at the time for $$29k.

Determine what you want and be patient. There are deals to be had.

Todd

I bought this: http://www.mini2.com/forum/photos-ph...new-black.html for $30k. (I am not the original poster - this was posted by the original owner when he bought it new back in 09)

14,457 miles and lots of upgrades, I have all the receipts and they REALLY add up.

Car feels good, suspension is fantastic. My only worry is accelerating from a stop in first gear, while depressing the clutch - something is lugging in there and its not me. I've test driven a dozen minis over the last month - this one is a bit funky. It's under warranty plus it has the 100k mile extended maintenance program so I'll let the service guys check it out.

well unfortunately my engine has an undiagnosed problem that no-one can fix. So the tune isn't really doing much, so I don't run it. I'm on the stock tune.

I know it’s an expense but do yourself a favor and go buy the Access Port... otherwise you’re stuck with what the genius is good for.... a doorstop.

Cause you sure as hell won’t get any customer service to fix your problem.

Well I've been sent quite a few maps from Jan, to see whether or not it's the tune, but the fact that all of them don't solve the issue, and all of them work on plenty of other Aussie cars means that the problem is probably with the car.

Plus the access port doesn't work on aussie cars, only on US cars....
