I am contemplating Stage 1 for my 2010 Clubman S. My question is, how does the Stage 1 shift in automatic mode?

The reason I ask is that the automatic in sport mode shifts very rough. The automatic in standard "non" sport mode is very smooth shifting to a point where you almost cannot feel it. When I push the sport button it becomes harsh.

With the Stage 1, how does the car shift in NON sport and Sport mode?

 

I would say that regular is almost like the old sport and sport is more aggressive. But if you can drive light of foot, it is very smooth and not at all annoying on slow commute
