Brasil Mini Aero Kit

Hello Mini fans

Im writing from Brasil , here MINI starts this year and Im happy owner of this cooper S.

1-I would like to buy AERO KIT but here is EXPENSIVE. My first question is IF I DONT CHANGE THE WHEELS ITS GONE A BE BEAUTIFUL? Do you have some pictures to see?

2-Why the tunning Kit goes only to 192 hp and the factory JCW goes to 211hp?

Thanks

Congratulations, and welcome!

Can't give you much insight about the aero kit, but if I understand your question, it generally looks fine with just about any factory wheel rim set you can get on the Cooper S.

I would speculate that the main reason for the horsepower difference between the tuning kit and the factory JCW is because the drive train components are different. Offhand I don't know which drive train component may be the limiting factor for the tuning kit; but I do know that the factory JCW has a number of improved engine/transmission components that are designed to withstand the stresses associated with the higher horsepower output.

Andre... is there a high tax put on car parts coming into the country? If so you can have them shipped from the U.S. as "used", sometimes the tax i s much lower.

Take a look through my flickr.com site. The link is in my signature. Lots of pics of the car when it had the factory aero kit and now with the JCW aero kit.

i saw all your pictures in Flickr ...amazing car , really beautiful!!!

Here in Brasil everything is difficult, too expensive, could you imagine that I pay US$68.000 in my MINI cooper S?
And they dont have wheels, kits to sell , now I foun this AERO KIT but the price is US$5.000!!!

I foun in another store tunning kit JCW (air filter+Exhaust+power..192hp) THE PRICE?US$8.000!!!

To start what do you preferer?

Thanks

my JCW bodykit II also cost me approx US$5,000
my factory JCW car cost me approx US$77,000

so dont feel bad, cars around the world are expensive, sans the US.
