JCW JCW full exhaust
JCW full exhaust
I just bought a full jcw exhaust from a totaled JCW.
I drive an 09 MCS
will the exhaust be a direct bolt on?? or do i have to cut some parts off?? also..is the the MCS header and JCW header the same part?

Should be a bolt on. I did the same on a first Gen S last weekend. Not familiar with the R56, but on mine everything could be done with 10, 13, and 15mm sockets. Took about 1.5 hours on a lift, but I figure I could do it much faster next time. Part of that time was driving back to my house to get the gasket and some other things I had forgotten. Most of the time was trying to figure out how to reach certain bolts as they were blocked.
My exhaust itself was only connected in one place, behind the cat, with two bolts. two support brackets had to be removed, and the rubber hangars were removed from the car, transferred to the new exhaust, and reinstalled.
Not hard at all. Recommend finding a lift, much easier than jacking up the rear and doing it from your back (although it can be done that way)

JCW exhaust verification
Some one who is selling one, gave me #7585282, and told me that that is what was stamped into the back box.
Would you be able to verify?
