Removing door mirror glass?

I want to install JCW Carbon Fiber Door Mirrors and obviously need to remove the old ones first. I know that the best way to do this without breaking any of the tabs is to start by removing the door mirror glass. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

I managed to find the answer on the 1st post of this thread https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...e-clips-5.html

I thought that was just a stick-on piece of carbon fiber to the stock mirrors. Am I wrong? That's what mine look like. Just a shaped carbon fiber piece that sticks onto the stock mirror.
