Hi all,
how i know if this car has the jcw kit?

History:
I bought a 2003 mini cooper s with 67000 and i noticed that it had the jcw badges front and back:under the hood has the intake with serial number and the inter-cooler cover with jcw logo,back exhaust with tips except the air box!!

Today, I was replacing the sparkplugs and i noticed that it has the plugs for the MCS but not the jcw.
What happens if i used the jcw sparkplugs? Can i damaged something?

If you have a JCW serial number, it's pretty likely you have the kit. You should also have a sheet of paper - certificate - with the same serial number.

Apparently, using the wrong spark plugs left the engine running OK - but it's best to use what's spec'ed.

I bought the car from a small private dealer and i don't have the certificate. Also, i just when to my bmw and they have not records of the jcw kit installed by the dealer.
Do you thinlk I can trace the jcw kit with the serial number?

Sounds like JCW
Check to see if you got 380 injectors.

 

How do you check that?
I think the intercooler is in the way to look at them.
