how will they know it has been tuned? before you sell it pay for a mini sevice reflash.

last time i looked at N.A.D.A ,Blackbook ,ALG I did not see a add for the jcw stage 1 can tune .

Doug,

I just found out today the hard way. I was told that not only will BMW not cover my repairs, they told me that the rest of my warranty on the engine and trans will be null and void.

On top of that... they won't even pay for the timing chain tensioner bulletin.

All because of my RMW tune. (tune didn't cause the problem, just the fact that it's on there, I'm now voided)

would have been better to replace the valve cover and harness then had mini repair the chain tensioner.

sometimes you win sometimes you lose, even after losing it is still fun to play

get a aftermarket service contract and always tip your mini tech

Oh, I'm not upset. The car is suppose to be finished tomorrow. I paid them to replace the valve cover, air inlet tube and timing chain tensioner. (it was only 730 bucks for all of it)

Point is, if I pick it up Friday, I was going to head down to Roebling Road again with CHIN DE. I just didn't sign up just in case it wasn't ready and I'd waste my entrance fee.

you need to plan on adding a huge oil cooler with a fan and add some redline water wetter to your coolant.

No. No exhaust. Intake, hot and cold pipes. Stuff like that.

Ok, thread locked. Apparently over half the thread being deleted/moved wasn't enough of a hint. Thanks for not bashing the OP for buying the JCW Tuning Kit.
