JCW 2009 JCW goodies!
Quick question,
by doing this, how is it different from the aero kit? Is the installation hard?

Though I don't have "installation pics", I did have to install my splitter yesterday. While I had the bumper off, I took some pics. When minitauro has his kit apart, you'll be able to see what the halves look like.
Anyway, here's a few pics.

Sorry to ask for a redundant question but I have a freshly new born around the house now so i don't have the time to search for this. Could you please tell me the part(s) number and how they are actually called so I can place the order with Morristown later today?
Thanks,
David

Woa!I just finished that job today. I heard someone saying it took only an hour? Wow. Amazing. Reality check for me was more like 4 hrs. You have to take the bumper off. (Lots of fun if you don't have a nice jack, but I did have one...few!), then cut the templates, assemble the ducts (that's easy), then replace the splitters (those puppies are in really snug). Fit everything back in and check that its properly align. My car is all dirty right now, once I wash it ill post some pics if you guys like.
Good night,
David

Ok - got the kit on today. Like fdavid, this took a bit over 4 hours with Huevo leading the instal. Here are a few pics....
Some of the parts:

Some disasembly required...

Here is how the template should go to cut the liner:

Installing the new splitters and grillwork:

Not the best shot, but you get the idea....

Does anyone know the difference in part number 51110445887 and 51110441461? They both have the same description "EXTENSION, Width extension, front left".
Currently my car has the older JCW kit

I'm on the verge on purchasing this Upgrade Component Kit for previous John Cooper Works Aero Kit
http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...catalogid=5277
Would this part be all that I need for the newer front bumper?
Thank you all.

Just confirming I can install
51110441460 WIDTH EXTENSION, FRONT RIGHT
51110441461 WIDTH EXTENSION, FRONT LEFT
on a non works 2009 MCS?
And can this be done on the car, or the bumper has to come off?
Thanks!
