Me too. They look quite different in black and you see more of the dish and contours of the wheel. I've had lots of comments from people who see the car in person

Sorry for the late reply. Its a 2004 JCW with many facelift updates such as the headlights and taillights. Also added a facelift Getrag with LSD, as well as R56 aluminum rear arms.

GP wannabe if I am honest. But many attempts at purchasing a GP have failed.

 

Where did you find the front bumper? I also like how those inserts are black and not silver!

I love my 06 MCS JCW Checkmate...

The only thing that stinks is I can't find rims that look good on a Space Blue car with Silver mirrors and a silver roof.

Friends sorry for the tardy response (4 years later!!) but i was otherwise occupied. Thanks for the suggestions. I have not found the suspension to be too harsh but youre right the runflats feel like rocks. The JCW is a blast; im driving cross country on Tuesday for the THIRD time, for fun.

 

The 18" JCW rims that Neil_Ireland (previous post) would look great. Have you thought of the stock flamespoke rims that came with the Checkmate?

With the Aero Kit too. Very nice!

Now go make sure the harmonic balancer is good to go and that the upper engine mount isn't leaking.
