JCW Show us your JCW body kit
How much (parts, paint. installed) in the US? Is there an option to have it installed at the VPC?
Here in Germany, you can order it pre-painted I think for around $1600 plus installation labor.

Since a honda civic stalled on a hill and rolled back into my bumper cracking it...
I'm getting a new bumper cover and money towards a new upper grill- getting the body shop to order me a JCW aero bumper cover, along with all the corresponding parts for the JCW front end. Since my upper grill is actually oaky (appraiser thought otherwise), i'm getting away with replacing my front end for a JCW for 83$ painted and installed! =D

^lucky!!!! Just fyi, the upper JCW grill is actually different than a standard R56 grill (JCW one has bigger honeycomb openings to match the lower grill on the JCW bumper). Just throwin that out there...
phew, you scared me as i started to read that... lol
yes, i know its got the bigger openings- but as of now, i'm gett like about 130$ for the upper grill applied to the necessary parts below for the aero kit (fog light inserts, two valence lips, and lower grill), and being a broke college student (kinda lol), im being frugal about it. If it turns out the difference is very great and ugly-noticiable, then i will definitely upgrade the upper grill too afterwards. My plan is to part out the rest of the oem front bumper and see if I can scrap up some cash for that, then move on from there.
im psyched. just went through these 10 pages and really noticing how much of a difference the more aggresive front makes!

afaik they come unpainted.
when I sourced parts from morristown the part numbers are individual for every piece, and they are primed but unpainted-
not sure if you can source the whole kit maybe painted, i wouldn't imagine so though- just because of their higher upkeep costs of having all the different colors-

Anyone got any close up pics of the updated JWC aero kit with the integrated brake ducts or had the kit added to thier current setup?

It looks like the configurator on Mini's site includes the brake ducts now.

The latest updates to RealOEM show diffrent part numbers for complete kits painted:
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...93&hg=51&fg=95
(BTW part number: 51192153456 for Midnight black without park sensors)
If you want just diffrent parts (scroll down to the bottom):

Unfortunatly the individual peices don't look to be pre-painted. Bummer as I only want the front bumper (with the new breake ducts).
Got mine back yesterday, put on my summer wheels, and took some pics. Also done was the time attack to my JCW wheels, and the HL rings were painted to body color match. Enjoy! Btw, when I sourced the parts from the dealership two weeks ago, I still got the old lower grill and the old lip... damn! I guess I should of specified which I wanted to see if there were newer part numbers for them (which there obviously is)... ugh, oh well, i love it still!
Definitely think the body match cleans up the front end now, lines flow much better without an interrupting black eye.
-Tow hook is gone- body shop put it back on
-Mirror caps are going back to black once i get to it, gotta clean up the black set first
Enjoy

what I want it to look like after springs, konis, some 215 or 225's, and maybe 5mm spacers

some before after comparos
