I have purchased the JCW Sound Kit, JCW Sport Brakes, and the JCW Sport Suspension that I planned doing a self install on. What I would like to know is if this will affect the 2yr warranty on the parts? I have been told, and read that if the dealer installs the parts that they will be warrantied for 2yrs. Does a self install Void that warranty?

 

i'm in the same boat. i just got the upgrade kit for my '04 jcw. my car is out of warranty, but so there's a 2-year part warranty? i was gonna install it myself but if doing so voids the warranty then maybe i'll go and get myself ripped off at the dealer
