I bought the black trim from minspeed for my stock R56 Cooper S Grill but the bottom piece did not fit well.

I now want to get the JCW grill (Minspeed has it on their site ) but does not have black trim and says you must re attach the chrome trim. Outmotoring has the black trim for the grill but does not sell the grill. I hope I have this right.

Does Mini sell both the top JCW grill and trim seperately?

Has anyone done this and did the parts fit very well and without modification?

I am confused please help my goal is to have the JCW Grill with black trim and that it fit well

 

Minspeed has cleared up the issue for me. The customer service is first rate

 

My ETK shows a different grille for the Aero front bumper cover...
Part # 51 11 0 404 123 for the grille
Part # 51 13 0 417 135 for the top trim piece
Part # 51 11 0 417 136 for the bottom trim piece
...now my catalog specifically states black for the grille, and "Cooper S" for the top and bottom trim pieces.

Now if I look up a standard front grille...
Part # 51 13 2 751 290 for the grille
Part # 51 13 2 751 040 for the top trim piece
Part # 51 11 2 751 625 for the bottom trim piece
...now my catalog states black for the grille, and chrome for the top and bottom pieces.

Fast MINI offers both the grille and black trim.

 

I got the JCW Grille and black trim for my MC from Fast MINI. They had awesome customer service after UPS busted the top trim piece during shipping.

It looks totally awesome (I'm not a big fan of chrome).
