I bought the black trim from minspeed for my stock R56 Cooper S Grill but the bottom piece did not fit well.

I now want to get the JCW grill (Minspeed has it on their site ) but does not have black trim and says you must re attach the chrome trim. Outmotoring has the black trim for the grill but does not sell the grill. I hope I have this right.

Does Mini sell both the top JCW grill and trim seperately?

Has anyone done this and did the parts fit very well and without modification?

I am confused please help my goal is to have the JCW Grill with black trim and that it fit well

 

I don't get why so many people have had fitment problems with the lower grille surround when switching to the black JCW ones cause mine fit perfectly....did I just get lucky?

I ordered the Grille and black trim for my MC and everything fits like a glove.
