Looks great - if they'd ever come out with those for the MFSW, I'd have been all over it!

i would imagine with the proper equipment, it wouldnt be hard to cut out the holes for the various buttons... They could even make some that gid rid of the buttons you dont need if you dont have the bluetooth option.

Cutting out holes is all well and good, however you're still left with the protruding MF buttons which are basically a bright silver. The only solution I can think of is a CF patterned decal and even then if you have the bluetooth option you still have the two little buttons which I'd imagine would be very hard to get decals that small made for.

The MFSW inserts are more than just holes for buttons. They have the button guts integrated into them and you could not just punch holes in the CF ones to make it work. I have some apart right now and they are way more complex than you may think.

There we are then. This is actually one of the things really bothering me as i REALLY want the CF inserts to complete the interior look of my car but I have no choice in getting a MFSW as I HAVE to have the Nav. I'm thinking someone who made real CF side spoke inserts for people with the MFSW would make an absolute killing. *cough* Dragonflyer *cough*

I think it was no accident that CooperGear would be taking apart the MFSW spokes. Check his website.

I can't find anything on the site pertaining to MFSW inserts. Besides, cooopergear deal with CF 'wraps' not real CF. You'll notice I specified 'real' in my earlier post.

Right, it is not real carbon fiber. It is a custom painting process that resembles a carbon weave.

Don't you worry I'll be in contact with you soon re: a black carbon wrap for my piano black door trim, all interior 'aluminum' trim and the silver bits of my JCW CF rear roof spoiler.

Scott,

The inserts look great, now all you need is the JCW wheel!

It's really a nice upgrade over the standard version!

I thought about it, but I really like the standard 3-spoke....but I'll porbably end up getting the alcantara one down the road....but the spokes look sooooo good, especially with my dash
