Thanks Adam got it installed wednesday, it is flush with R53 plate. I completly cut the little plastic protruding nipple off with a toe nail clipper, to make it flush. While at it added Start Button Panel, JCW Steering Wheel, and GPS. This Gear Shift Indicator is 10 times better than the old light, I set it at just 7k rpm, I figured by the time I shift it would reach close to redline.

It's all you need parts wise, it will come with some wire taps. for tools you'll need something to cut it off of the old plastic and a Phillips head screwdriver.

Hi guys,
I need all your help please!!!!!
I want to install the JCW shift light indicator for R56 (part #62 13 0 420 602) in my R53, but I can´t find it in anywhere, so it is officially not available any more.
I found this one:
http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/Cons...5307/ES515307/
(Part #62132153046)
And I see it exactly the same only the base changes and has a hole/space for the microphone/handsfree that has the R57 installed I think.
So do u think it could be the same and I could install it in my R53?, I don´t care the base of the shift indicator because also I will need to brake it as I see. Or also changes in other things ?? I don´t know maybe the wires the box, etc. ?
Please help me because I really want it a lot.
Adam I hope you see this post and help me a little with this.
Thank you very much!!!
Mario
